When is the best time to see baby in 3D/4D?
27w - 30w is the best window of time to do a 3D/4D ultrasound with the best pictures! If you come in closer to the 32w it really is pushing the envelope, babies like to be head down and difficult to see around that time.
How many people can I bring with me to my appointment?
As much company as you would like! We welcome larger parties and love hearing that you have plenty of support through out your pregnancy journey!
Can I facetime during the exam?
You can!
This is about your bonding experience, and we understand that not everyone can make it that would like to be in the room with you.
What can I do to make sure I get the best 3D/4D session possible?
Drink, drink, drink water! Stay hydrated at least 3days before your exam and the day of your exam. Amniotic fluid is HUGE to being able to see baby well. If we don't have enough fluid around baby's face, we can't see every detail as clearly. Staying hydrated encourages that amniotic fluid to increase, giving us our best photos for the profile, 3D/4D and seeing those facial features clearly.
Is this affordable?
Absolutely! Our 3D/4D experience is about so much more than just getting a few pictures of your baby. You'll have dedicated time to relax, connect with your baby, and enjoy the experience with the people you love. We'll capture 2D, 3D/4D, HD Live images throughout your session, and you'll leave with special keepsakes to look back on and cherish long after your appointment. You will receive not only photos, but also digital images and videos of your session.
What if baby doesn't cooperate during the exam?
Our Shy Baby Promise is this: IF your little one doesn't cooperate, you can be rescheduled for a second attempt within 2 weeks free of charge!

After that, it's up to baby to show off. We will of course do everything in office to get your little one to move into position for the best images possible.
What if I don't want to know baby gender at all, will I see it?
There is always a chance baby will show us without giving us warning.

When you arrive, tell us that you DON'T want to know gender & we will be sure to start the exam with the TV off and screen tilted away from you. Once we see how baby is laying, we can then turn our screens to you so you can enjoy your little one.

If we move down towards baby's gender or baby decides to flip, we will warn you to look away.
Can I come in earlier than 27w for this exam?
Yes!

You may book this exam before or after the suggested times.

Before 27w babies don't have a whole lot of fat to work with - so they look a little skinny and aren't usually as active.
​
After 30w babies start to stay head down in mom's pelvis, which can make things more challenging to see. They also start to lose out on room in there, so fluid shifting around the face may not be large enough for us to see baby. We need LOTS of fluid.
